We provide child-led, connection-based, and neurodiversity-affirming services for assessment, treatment, consultation, and support for the following areas:

  • Gestalt Language Development and/or neurodivergent communication styles

  • Speech clarity (articulation/phonological needs, apraxia of speech)

  • Language (grammar, vocabulary, concept knowledge, following directions)

  • Early language development for infants and toddlers

  • Phonological Awareness, pre-literacy skills, and supporting struggling readers

  • Voice health

Services for Adults

We work with adults of any age to provide services including:

  • Communication assessment and therapy for individuals post-stroke or brain injury, and individuals of symptoms of dementia-related illnesses such as Alzheimer’s disease

  • Accent modification services for individuals who would like to improve their Standard North American English accent. We recognize that, although an accent is in no way a “disorder,” some individuals may choose to improve their accent to improve their ability to be understood in the workplace or social situations

  • Consultation + support for neurodivergent adults to seek clarity and understanding for their communication abilities and needs as well as empowerment for self-advocacy and identification of accommodations as needed

Fees

Initial Assessment & Consultation (60-minutes/$195, includes summary report)

An Initial Assessment/Consultation involves a 60-minute in-person appointment and includes a written summary of the consultation provided in a PDF report. The appointment will begin with a discussion with the parent(s) to obtain a developmental history and identify all areas of concern. There will then be a variety of observation and evaluation measures such as play interactions, games, activities, and other various assessment tasks completed directly with you/your child. The assessment will conclude with a discussion of needs and abilities in the areas of speech, expressive language, receptive language, speaking fluency, vocal quality, play and/or social development, and any others related to communication. Recommendations for ongoing support will be provided and discussed as well. Re-Assessment Consultations may be required, at the therapist’s discretion, for clients who have not been seen within the past six months due to the dynamic nature of childhood development.

Treatment (50-minutes/$140 or 30-minutes/$80)

Treatment will be tailored to your child and your family.  The number, duration, and frequency of therapy sessions recommended will vary case by case. Aside from individual or group-based speech therapy sessions, treatment recommendations may include home and day care programming, supportive devices, and referrals to allied professionals, depending on each individual’s exact needs. Virtual services and consulting are also available.
