Getting kids on the right track for success and happiness at school
Pathways offers private tutoring services to help children with their growth in academic skills such as reading, writing, spelling, math, and comprehension. Private tutoring can enhance your child's in-school education and support them in specific areas of need. If your child is struggling to achieve success at school, tutoring can help! With help from a fully Certified teacher, our team of University-educated Teachers (completed Education Degrees) can provide professional-level support and quality instruction for your child!
Available Services & Fees
Our tutoring services begin with an Initial Tutoring Consultation. You and your child will come together for this one-hour appointment to meet with one of our Tutors, who are all Certified Teachers. Through a detailed discussion of your child’s report card and a review of your child’s progress in school, you will learn about your child’s individual abilities and areas of need. From there, our Tutors will provide you with a customized learning plan that outlines key areas for growth, strategies to use at home, and a suggested schedule for ongoing tutoring support at our Centre.
The fee for the Initial Tutoring Consultation is $120.
After the Initial Tutoring Consultation, families can choose to book further tutoring sessions. All tutoring sessions are one hour in length and can occur in-person at Pathways or virtually via a secure web-based video platform. Families must first* complete the Initial Tutoring Consultation prior to booking a Tutoring Session/package. All of our Tutors hold a Bachelors Degree in Education and some of our Tutors hold additional certificates (i.e., Inclusive Education Certificates) or a Masters Degree in Education. *Children who have recently received a Pre-Academic Assessment or full Psycho-Educational Assessment may bypass the Initial Tutoring Consultation.
The fee for Individual Tutoring Sessions (60 min.) is $70.

ONLY ACTIVE clients can access online booking with their specific clinician for ease and convenience of scheduling the sessions they need, when they need them.
An active client has been seen by a Pathways OT within the last FOUR months.
If you are a NEW client to our clinic, have not been to our clinic within the last four months, OR wanting to book in with a NEW clinician, you can view our Online Booking site to learn about our team, our availability, and then contact us directly to get connected with our team!
